Netherlands Centre for Crime Prevention and Community Safety
The Secured by Design concept was adopted by the Dutch Police some years ago under the title Veilig Wonen - Police Marque Secured Housing. Whilst developed for local Dutch needs, the project remains similar to SBD and its management under ACPO CPI. The Dutch project has now joined the Dutch Centre for Crime Prevention & Safety which creates one central point where public and private organisations alike can find information and expertise on crime prevention and safety.
