Sunray and Vistamatic join forces
Sunray, in conjunction with Vistamatic, has developed a new steel LPS 1175 SR2 and SR3 security-rated door set, which features high security glazed secure vision panels to provide visual manual access control .
"Through our association with Secured by Design, both companies were already aware of each other and the natural fit between the products. It was, therefore, an obvious solution to join forces with Vistamatic and create a totally unique offering, which could provide a high level of security as well as visual manual access control," says David Evans, Managing Director of Sunray.
Vistamatic was equally confident with this new partnership, having recognised that Sunray was not only at the top of its game but had the same vision, patience and tenacity to see a very challenging project through to the end.
"We at Vistamatic knew that Sunray was a highly respected manufacturer of steel doors with all of the necessary accreditations to take this product to a new level. Sunray had the expertise to help us research and develop this innovation," confirms John Nerden. "Our challenge was to create a vision panel which could perform to the accredited levels within the Sunray ExecDoor level 2 and ExcluDoor level 3 door ranges."
To meet Secured by Design requirements, Vistamatic, in conjunction with Sunray, created two vision panels.

- Vistamatic Sherman glazed secure vision panel LPS 1175 SR3 impact/attack manufactured exclusively for installation into Sunray ExcluDoor SR3 steel security door range.
Secure vision panels offer discreet observation by natural surveillance whist providing security and privacy. The new security-rated door set meets all the requirements of all security-conscious markets, including mental health institutions, banks and prisons.
