The standards listed here are those currently identified by ACPO CPI for Secured by Design 'Police Preferred Specification' licenses. Other standards will be added as considered appropriate by ACPO CPI.

In addition, some security products that do not have the benefit of a suitable public test standard may have been subjected to and passed a rigorous evaluation by a technical authority acceptable to ACPO CPI. (e.g. HOSDB - Home Office Scientific Development Branch and Thatcham - Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre).
