Bradbury Group expands PAS24 certified range with introduction of panic hardware

SBD member company Bradbury Group a leading manufacturer of bespoke steel security, fire and flood doors, is pleased to announce the expansion of its PAS24 certified range with the addition of new panic hardware.

The inclusion of two-point panic escape hardware in the M2M+24 range enhances the functionality of the doorsets, ensuring a safe and efficient evacuation during emergency situations.

The widely recognised push-to-release mechanism of a panic escape makes it easier for individuals to quickly operate a door and evacuate in case of emergency, without needing prior knowledge or training. By introducing the two-point panic escape on M2M+24 PAS certified steel doors, Bradbury Group has opened up the product to customers seeking made-to-measure emergency exit doors with a recognised security certification.

Bradbury Group’s Technical Sales Director, Andy Edser said: “We are constantly listening to our customers and are continuing to develop and expand our product range to meet their evolving needs. By adding the two-point panic escape, we are not only meeting emergency exit requirements, but with optional external CE fire integrity, are also ensuring we can service the entire project with just one door.”

The M2M+24 range is available with a range of vision panels, louvres and closers, with options for letterplates depending on the specification. In order to meet PAS 24 compliance, M2M+24 was subjected to rigorous testing conducted by an accredited testing facility. The tests simulated real-life burglary attempts and assessed the performance of the door under different conditions including durability, manual intervention, mechanical loading, and more.

To celebrate the addition of new hardware, Bradbury Group is delighted to present a limited-time introductory promotion. During the initial two weeks following launch, customers purchasing doorsets from the esteemed M2M+24 range will be eligible for an exclusive £50 reduction per doorset.

“This latest product innovation is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional value and service to our customers,” said Bradbury Group CEO, Tom Cornell.
