Eligibility

Reseller SBD membership can be sought when you sell an SBD fabricating member company’s Police Preferred Specification (PPS) products unaltered.

Proof required

A formal letter from your SBD manufacturer or supplier confirming you are a genuine customer and that the supplied range is the manufacturer’s approved SBD PPS range of products currently listed on their SBD company webpage.

Dependency

Reseller membership is contingent on the ongoing SBD membership of the supplying manufacturer; if that manufacturer leaves SBD, your affiliation also ends unless another qualifying SBD supplier is sourced.

Requirements and Responsibilities

To maintain the integrity of the scheme:

Product integrity

Products must remain unaltered from the supplying SBD member’s approved PPS range

Documentation

Maintain and present the formal supplier letter when requested

Ongoing compliance

Continue to source SBD-approved products only while supplied by a current SBD member

Customer communication

Accurately represent SBD affiliation and the scope of the PPS coverage for each product supplied
