Merseyside healthcare and security provider Sefton Arc have their ArcAngel Lone Worker Device accredited by SBD, having achieved Police Preferred Specification. ArcAngel utilises the latest technology coupled with GPS and mobile phone functions to provide a perfect solution for anyone who needs support wither in the home or when out and about.

At the press of a button, the ArcAngel is connected to their award winning ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre), where trained operators can hear, assess and record whatever situation is developing and action an appropriate response.

The employer and employee can also keep in touch via the ArcAngel, without the need for a separate mobile phone. A Roll Call Service is also offered for manned guards giving a bespoke roster or routine call service.

The ArcAngel equipment offers GPS Positioning, a ‘man down’ facility, Red and Amber Alerts, two way communication and a recording facility. It is monitored 24 hours a day.

Products must be subjected to vigorous testing and auditing by an accredited third party organisation before being allowed to carry the SBD logo – this is the only way for companies to obtain police accreditation for security related products in the UK.
