LITELOK Named One of the UK's Fastest-Growing Companies for a Second Consecutive Year

Being recognised for a second year highlights the momentum behind the business and reinforces LITELOK's position as a leading manufacturer in the cycling and motorcycle security sector.

As LITELOK looks ahead, the focus remains unchanged: creating world-class security solutions that give riders greater confidence and peace of mind wherever they travel. This year, LITELOK launched their theft intelligence map feature which allows cyclists, motorcyclists, and scooter users to explore continuously updated data showing where theft incidents are being reported. By presenting this information in a clear, geographic format, the map is intended to help riders better understand patterns of theft activity and encourage more informed decision-making around security and prevention.

LITELOK X

In 2022, award-winning British lock manufacturer LITELOK launched their LITELOK X range of armoured locks to offer bicycles, e-bikes and motorcycles unparalleled resistance against angle grinders, which have increasingly become the tool of choice for thieves 

Fully armoured with Barronium®, a patented, anti-angle grinder technology, LITELOK X is up to 15 times more secure than unarmoured U-locks. What’s more, it has impressive design features such as self-sealing keyhole protection, retro-reflective coatings and easy to use frame mounts. LITELOK X1 and X3 have been widely rated as the best and most secure locks in the world. 

Barronium® is a Fused Composite Armour made up of multiple, extremely hard ceramic and metallic materials which combined, make it tougher than an angle grinder disc. Barronium® repels attacks by turning the grinder’s energy and force on itself.

With bike and motorcycle theft at an all-time high LITELOK continues to set the industry standard with ever more sophisticated bicycle and motorcycle anti-theft locks.

The three layers of protection consist of:

1. A hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core to provide inner strength against multiple tool attacks such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers, chisels and more.
   
   
2. LITELOK’s patented anti-grinder armour Barronium® that is permanently fused to this core and designed to wear down angle grinder discs.
   
   
3. A soft rubber outer layer that doesn’t damage bike frames but provides additional cut resistance. 

Secure: The LITELOK X range has passed Sold Secure Pedal Cycle Diamond, Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond and ART4 insurance-rated standards. It also meets the ‘Police Preferred Specification’ of Secured by Design (SBD), providing the best available deterrent for cyclists and motorcyclists looking to secure bicycles, e-bikes, motorcycles and scooters. Additionally, for the X3 LITELOK has sought out the Abloy Sentry lock cylinder; the most pick-proof locking mechanism available and the only example fitted to a bicycle or motorcycle lock.

Retro-reflective day and night: All LITELOK X locks feature retro-reflective strips for additional safety, so you can be seen to be secure.

Easy to carry: Their unique, Tactical Mount fits any bike style, firmly holding LITELOK X locks on the bumpiest of roads while remaining quick to both affix and remove. In addition, LITELOK has collaborated with another Great British brand, Restrap, to create a co-branded lock holster for LITELOK X.
