SIEGENIA has renewed its membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the national police crime prevention initiative.
The SIEGENIA GROUP develops solutions that bring spaces to life, with an innovative and wide ranging product portfolio for modern window systems, door systems and comfort systems.
Established in April 1914 originally as a pressing and punching company, the company swiftly moved into the window hardware market and took on its current name in 1955. SIEGENIA acquired the Aubi Baubeschläge GmbH in Hermeskeil, Rheinland-Pfalz in 1998, with the two companies merging five years later. In 2006 SIEGENIA then expanded its portfolio further, acquiring the German market leader for door locking systems, KFV Karl Fleither GmbH & Co, who celebrated their 150th anniversary in 2018.
Today SIEGENIA is the leading system provider of room comfort solutions including smart window, door and ventilation products which can be controlled via an app. The brand’s focus is on customer benefits and providing a holistic approach, with a suite of so-called “comfort” solutions which are simple to operate and which increase accessibility and, above all, security for the homeowner.

SBD Development Officer Doug Skins said: “It’s fantastic that SIEGENIA have renewed their membership with Secured by design. They are a well-established international company with an excellent reputation and I look forward to working with them around the accreditation of further products”.
Adrian Vicker, General Manager at SIEGENIA said: “Being a member of SBD is extremely important to us. SIEGENIA is renowned for delivering high-quality solutions and having the SBD stamp of approval underlines this and sets us apart from our competitors. It is also a valuable tool for end users. With the current trend of homeowners looking to improve rather than move, SBD points them in the right direction when looking to upgrade their security.”
