If Lighting is not produced at a uniform level either by the bad design of the lighting scheme, the luminaries are obstructed by landscaping or other design features can create poorly lit areas. This in-turn can reduce surveillance into the site and limit visibility for users of the school . Where a well designed lighting scheme is not in place, may increase the potential for crime or antisocial behaviour to occur at these locations.
