Providing Certified Secured by Design Doors to STS202 BR2 is the primary focus of Neos Protect. Typically the doors are fitted on communal housing schemes. Main and Rear Communal Entrances, bin stores, bike stores, and energy centres are all protected with design variants of the Neos Protect door systems. Options include fully glazed doors, solid panel doors, louvred doors, and doors with vision panels, Locking includes magnetic locks which work with access control systems, and multi-point locking which support panic hardware and conventional locking. Dual certified doors are also provided, which means that fire doors achieving EI60 can be provided with the same security rating as our non-fire doors. The insulated HI door system has achieved Passive House certification status, so U values as low as 0.77 W/m²K can be achieved. Automated Opening Vents are a common requirement for high rise buildings and the Neos HI SBD certified door has been tested to EN 12101 -2 with an actuator designed to open the door when there is a signal from a smoke and fire detection system.
