Halspan is one of the leading suppliers of quality door components in the world. Its universally respected doorsets are made under licence by customers on all five continents. A pioneer in its field, Halspan has been at the forefront of its industry in one way or another for the last 20 years. First, in the early 1990s, Halspan developed an entirely new way of constructing doors, using pre-tested fire door blanks made from 3-layer particle board. It took the industry by storm and hasn’t been bettered since. Halspan was also the first company to offer a full range of testing. We didn’t just test one door blank to see whether it could be used as a fire door; we tested lots of different door configurations and modes. Recognising that specifiers’ and fabricators’ needs change, Halspan has continued to enhance its product range. At the same time, Halspan has extended its offering, so that specifiers can now source all their quality doorset components from a single, trusted supplier. Today, Halspan offers an unrivalled range of not just timber fire doors, but also fire-rated steel frames, fire glass, seals and hardware.
