Next week, from 30 September to 1 October, Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (Police CPI) will be at the International Security Expo in London. We'll be there to highlight our various programs focused on crime prevention and reducing demand on police resources, as well as our work supporting government and law enforcement.
The expo brings together around 10,000 security professionals from around the globe who are responsible for the safety of businesses, people, and national infrastructure. You'll find leading security manufacturers and suppliers, many of them Secured by Design members, showcasing their latest solutions.
Stand and presentations
Police CPI have a stand within the Government Zone, A76, at the Expo. The Government Zone showcases UK Government capabilities, innovative security technologies, integrated solutions and intelligence to create a safer world.
Police CPI
Police CPI is a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation owned by the police. As part of the NPCC Prevention Coordination Committee, we collaborate with a wide range of partners, including:
- Central government
- Security product manufacturers and companies (both in the UK and abroad)
- Standards authorities
- Key stakeholders such as Planners, Architects, Developers, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, academia, and the public
Our initiatives include Secured by Design (SBD), SBD's Secure Connected Device accreditation scheme for IoT products, the Police Crime Police Academy, the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme, an accreditation scheme for fuel retailers and cost recovery agencies and Licensing SAVI, among others.
