Jeremy Cassady, Securikey, said: “As a long-time advocate of independently tested products for true consumer peace of mind, we were very pleased to take up the challenge of achieving this new standard designed to incorporate BS7558, but go way beyond in terms of attack time and tools.

“Sold Secure test products in a real world environment using tool sets that match those used by criminals who attempt to do people and property harm. This new standard will allow firearms officers the ability to recommend higher quality cabinets in areas of greater risk.”

SBD Development Officer Lyn Poole said: “I’m so pleased, especially as Securikey are the first SBD member company to come on board with Sold Secure tested Gun Cabinets. The Turnbull 1 & 2 Gun Cabinets now have the SBD police preferred specification, and are great additions to the Securikey SBD product range”.
