Keynetics gain SBD accreditation for its Bluetooth Electronic Lockbox

Keynetics Ltd - a division of Sentrilock LLC, the leading electronic lockbox manufacturer and service provider in the USA - has specifically designed the Sentrikey system for the UK Health and Social Care sector.

keynetics logo 260x62The Sentrikey electronic lockbox is so much more than just a key safe, the tried and tested, patented technology of the Sentrikey utilises an easy to use app, allowing access for authorised users only and removing the code management security issues of mechanical key safes. The auditability of Sentrikey and its users, enables full monitoring and control of access and assists in asset management control.

In order to achieve Secured by Design, the Sentrikey lockbox had to adhere to rigorous test standards required by the police, the lockbox was tested and fully accredited to the Loss Prevention Certification Board’s standard LPS1175 (security rating 2).

SBD, the national police crime prevention initiative, works closely with Police Forces throughout the country and uses proven crime prevention techniques to reduce crime through environmental design to create secure spaces at the design stage and to set product standards that achieve Police Preferred Specification, which is more than the physical security standards required by the Building Regulations.
