Next week, from 29 to 30 September, Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (Police CPI) will exhibit at the International Security Expo in London. We will be showcasing our crime prevention programmes, our work to reduce demand on police resources, and our ongoing support for government and policing.
The expo brings together approximately 10,000 global security professionals dedicated to protecting people, businesses, and national infrastructure. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest innovations from leading security manufacturers and suppliers, including numerous Secured by Design (SBD) members.
Visit Us in the Government Zone - Police CPI will be located at Stand A74 - a dedicated area highlighting UK Government capabilities, innovative security technologies, and integrated intelligence solutions designed to create a safer world.
About Police CPI
As a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation owned by the police, we operate as part of the NPCC Prevention Coordination Committee. We collaborate extensively across the public and private sectors, working alongside central government, standards authorities, global security manufacturers, and key stakeholders in urban planning, architecture, housing, and academia.
Our core initiatives include:
- Secured by Design (SBD) and the SBD Secure Connected Device accreditation for IoT products
- The Police Crime Prevention Academy
- The Community Safety Accreditation Scheme
- Specialised accreditation schemes for fuel retailers and cost recovery agencies
