New management team launches new website as Arden Windows ‘goes for growth’
Arden Windows, one of the UK’s leading volume manufacturers and installers of high-performance timber windows and doors, has launched a new website to help publicise its new-look management team and reaffirm its objective to achieve ‘significant growth’ during 2021.
Announcing the new website in its April newsletter to customers and partner organisations, the West Midlands based company, which is a member of Secured by Design (SBD), stated it wanted its new website to underline the ‘new direction and focus of its business’.
Managing Director, John Sidebottom, who was appointed to the top job during a senior management restructure last October having been Commercial Director, commented in the company’s newsletter: “We are very proud to announce the launch of our new website which underlines the new direction and focus of our business. The new management team is now fully in place and looking forward to significant growth in 2021.”
This follows statements by John to SBD at the beginning of this year about the company’s intention to increase sales and maximise brand awareness as well as to continue to produce high quality products and put customers first.
With its sleek, modern look and attractive use of soft toned panels of text alongside bold display of full colour images, and the launch of a new company logo, the new website pulls together under the key headings of ‘Plan, Produce and Protect’.
‘Plan’ covers surveying and design services through to delivery, installation and beyond on projects ranging from affordable housing, retirement villages and luxury residential developments to specialist heritage and listed building window and door replacement schemes.
‘Produce’ focuses on the breadth of the company’s 73,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Coventry specifically referencing its advanced manufacturing techniques, complex CNC machinery and automated paint line to manufacture both traditional and modern contemporary, factory glazed, fully finished windows and doors in precision engineered timber.
‘Protect’ highlights its standard 10 year warranties on product, hardware and glazing and its 35 year warranty against fungal and insect attack on engineered timber sections. In addition, Arden provides a care and maintenance information to help products last for their full life expectancy of 60 years plus.
Arden Windows operates ISO9001 & ISO14001 systems for quality and environmental management as well as Secured by Design across its range.
Two of the case studies on the new website are:
Lisgar Terrace, a Samuel Lewis Housing Estate, Fulham (see picture below): A bespoke timber, sliding sash window scheme to replace the original windows of a 1927 built development which had been funded by a Victorian philanthropist who made his fortune through finance and money lending but left a significant endowment to provide housing for the poor. Arden worked with the architect to design a bespoke solution for the windows that met the aesthetic, thermal and security requirements of the project.
Cecil Square, a Morris Homes development, Stamford (see picture below): Arden Windows supplied timber sliding sash windows, flush casement windows and double and single residential doors to 45 executive homes on an elegant development at Cecil Square on the site of the former Stamford AFC football club. Burghley House Preservation Trust worked with housebuilder Morris Homes. Arden was the preferred supplier of timber windows and doors, which met the traditional aesthetics required.
On other company developments announced in April, Arden Windows declared its:
- successful assessment of its health and safety, financial and legal compliance and to continue its pre-qualification as Constructionline Silver Members
- decision to invest in a replacement Biomass boiler system at its factory. It is due to be installed later this month (May) and will enable Arden to burn sawdust extracted from their CNC machinery and any other timber waste created as a bi-product of the manufacturing process to heat its buildings and automated paint lines.
John added: “This installation will help us towards achieving our carbon reduction targets enabling us to recycle our own waste, and significantly decrease our reliance on external energy resources.”
