Crime prevention products supplier, JNE Security, have renewed their membership with Secured by Design, the official police security initiative.

Founded in 1990, JNE have always been a clear market leader in quality. They were the first UK company to have Secured by Design accreditation for personal alarms and have built up the Minder brand to be one of Europe’s leading names for personal alarms and community safety products.


Based in a modern office on an industrial estate on the outskirts of Wrexham, the company supplies local authorities, housing associations, universities, hospitals, and corporate clients, as well as providing a wide range of crime prevention and community safety products to all 43 police forces in England and Wales, and to Police Scotland and the Police Service of Northern Ireland for onward distribution within their own police areas., the online retail division of JNE Security, offer the widest range of low-cost security products in the UK and specialise in most electronic security alarms and devices. JNE Security were one of the first companies in the UK to develop the electronic personal alarm, and as an innovator of security products they continue to pioneer new ideas to combat crimes such as distraction burglary, bogus callers, fraud detection, rape, and domestic violence.
